Screening

The banana screen is a linear vibrating screen equipped with a box-type vibrator and multiple screening decks with varying inclines. It is named for its overall shape, which resembles a banana. It is primarily used for size classification of materials with a high proportion of fine particles in large and medium size fractions. It also serves functions such as dewatering, dense medium removal, and desliming.

The horizontal vibrating screen is a versatile screening and classification equipment widely used across industries such as mining, coal, chemicals, building materials, metallurgy, environmental protection, and food processing. Powered by an exciter, it generates an exciting force that drives the screen body into periodic reciprocating motion, causing the material on the screen mesh to be screened and classified.

As previously mentioned, the motor drives the vibrator to generate an exciting force, causing the screen box to move in a circular motion. The material is thrown and moves forward on the inclined screen surface. Particles smaller than the screen aperture pass through, while larger particles are discharged from the outlet, thereby achieving precise material classification.
