Horizontal Vibrating Screen

The horizontal vibrating screen is a versatile screening and classification equipment widely used across industries such as mining, coal, chemicals, building materials, metallurgy, environmental protection, and food processing. Powered by an exciter, it generates an exciting force that drives the screen body into periodic reciprocating motion, causing the material on the screen mesh to be screened and classified.

Installed at a nearly horizontal angle (0°–5°), the mainstream models feature a three-axis block eccentric exciter structure, allowing the screen box to follow an elliptical trajectory. By combining the high processing capacity of circular vibrating screens with the high screening precision of linear vibrating screens, it has become a primary classification equipment for sand and gravel aggregates, mining, coal preparation, and construction waste recycling. It is also the standard screening model for mobile crushing stations.

      Horizontal vibrating screens (especially three-axis elliptical models) combine the high throughput of inclined circular screens with the high precision of linear screens. Their vibration amplitude is typically 2.5 times that of traditional inclined screens, increasing throughput and yield by 1.3 to 3 times for the same screening area.

      The elliptical motion trajectory ensures deep vibration penetration through the material layer. This allows materials to stratify, pass through the screen, and move forward rapidly, effectively solving common issues like poor permeability and screen mesh blinding.

      The horizontal installation results in a low center of gravity, effectively reducing the overall height of the screening workshop (saving about 1.3–3 meters in building height). It also shortens the required length of incoming conveyor belts and reduces floor space, making it ideal for large and medium-sized mobile screening units.

      The three-axis drive improves the stress state of the screen frame, reduces the load on individual bearings, and ensures uniform stress distribution on the side plates. This minimizes stress concentration points, resulting in smooth, reliable operation and a significantly extended service life.
    • Low Energy Consumption & Easy Maintenance
      Utilizing advanced kinetic-to-potential energy conversion principles, the energy consumption per ton of screened material is significantly reduced. Additionally, bearings and gears mostly use oil bath lubrication for thorough lubrication and extended maintenance cycles; some models require oiling only once every 3,000 continuous operating hours.
